German Research Foundation (DFG)
The DFG promotes research in all fields of science and the humanities. Scientific and academic excellence, the advancement of young researchers, interdisciplinarity and internationality are key elements in the work of the DFG. Promoting research includes supporting individual projects and research cooperation, awarding prizes for outstanding research achievements, as well as funding scientific infrastructure and scientific networking.
